Understanding Climate Dynamics
Advancing subseasonal climate prediction through wave dynamics and variability research
About
I am a dedicated climate researcher at the School of Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences (SEOCS), Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, specializing in subseasonal variability and wave dynamics in climate models.
My research focuses on understanding the complex interactions between atmospheric and oceanic waves that drive subseasonal climate variability, particularly in the tropical and subtropical regions. I work extensively with global climate models and observational datasets to improve our understanding of climate predictability on timescales ranging from weeks to seasons.
At IIT Bhubaneswar, I collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance climate science through innovative modeling approaches and data analysis techniques. My work contributes to improved seasonal forecasting capabilities and climate adaptation strategies for vulnerable regions.

Research Interests
Subseasonal Variability
